Wheel alignment

Check the alignment

At least once a year and after any shock to the running gear... (edges or elsewhere).

The optimal alignment setting reduces fuel consumption and ensures the wear on your tyres is regular. Indiquate geometry can double the speed at which your tyres wear down... don't forget...

  • alignment 60 €
    (alignment "4x4" and "van" 75 €)
    (mobilhome + dodge 120 €)

  • Camber + 10 €
    Back alignment + 20 €

Alignment: guarantees safety and avoids abnormal wear of the tyres

Wheel alignment (horizontal axis)

The aim of the aligning the wheels correctly is to ensure that the position of the wheels relative to the chassis is identical on the right and left. Uneven alignment can 'pull' your vehicle to the left or right. When the wheels face inwards, this is known as toe-in.

When the wheels point out, this is known as toe-out. The degree of toe-in or toe-out is stated by the manufacturer. Our task is to ensure that this degree is maintained and is identical for each wheel.

The camber (vertical axis)

The camber defines the angle of the wheel in relation to a vertical axis. If, seen from the front, your wheel appears to point outwards, this is known as negative camber. The camber degree is determined by the manufacturer to give the vehicle the required level of driveability and grip.
