Summer tyres

Work done in our shop always meets five major quality criteria:

Pneu

  1. We replace valves every time
  2. Balancing is always done with new weights suited to each rim type and with the latest equipment
  3. Wheels are always tightened on by hand with a dynamometric wrench
  4. Our factory-direct tyres have a life-time guarantee (pro-rated for wear)
  5. Tyres are inflated according to manufacturer recommendations

IMPORTANT

New vehicle inspection tyre requirements.

Both vehicle type and engine size must be taken into account... Big engine, big tyres!

For both warranty and safety reasons, automobile manufacturers are requiring that tyres be sized according to the vehicle. However, you can choose a larger tyre if you adhere to the required diameter (the same holds true for rims). You will find an identification number and characteristics on each tyre:

205
Tyre width in mm
55
Height of the tyre sidewall is 55% of its width
R
Symbol indicating that the tyre has a radial carcass
15
Rim diameter (in inches)
87
Load index
V
Speed index

Tyre patterns and carcasses are designed according to speed requirements. One tyre type can therefore be designed for different maximum speed indices.
