Air conditioning: make your car very comfortable!

When and how to use your air conditioning?

The air conditioning in your car can be used all year round.

In summer:

To cool the passenger compartment more quickly:

  • Remove heat from the passenger compartment by opening the windows for a few minutes
  • Close the windows and turn on the air conditioning for five minutes on recycle
  • Switch off the recycle mode

For additional comfort:

  • Use “front” or “windscreen” mode rather than “foot” mode.
  • Set the fan to medium.
  • Set the temperature at 20 to 22°C

In winter:

To demist the windscreen faster:

  • Set the vent to “windscreen” or “demist” mode
  • Set the air mix to “hot”
  • Turn on the air conditioning.

To increase the life of your air conditioning system, turn it on for at least 10 minutes every 15 days in summer and winter to lubricate the seals.
